SHARLEY & DARYL(:
Know what? I can start this post with good news and bad news. Okay maybe not-so-bad news. I GOT 4 GOLD MEDALS(: But Sharley got the Best Girl award. Phbt. Whatever I'll try to get it next year. And oh, Daryl Chua-ahem... chua-the-black, got the Best Boy. Congratz to them TEEHEE:D I'll breakdown my order of events. E18: 50m Breaststroke. Shouldn't have swam this stroke. Set me back by a bronze with 45s. Which is bloody slow. Meh. Sharley did a WOW 40.99s. Damn tyco. Michelle 2nd-ed it, 43s. I really gotta buck up my breaststroke geyyy... Ohwells. And although this wasn't in my event, let me say that Darwin was hella tyco also. 39.99s. Hell, he's fast. E33: 50m Freestyle. Not too bad, seeing that I don't usually sprint 50m free, or done such in quite some time. Gold, 31.23s, but no record broken(GOHWANTING IS FREAKKING FAST.29s) Ahwell. Unless I buck up then I can't get anywhere near 30s. Not done 30s for a long time already. sobssobs): And oh, can I mention that me getting a gold in E33 has already been decided before the race? I mean, come on. Isabelle and YingTeng with me, eh? Sorry guys. I really shouldn't be putting that up there. No hard feelings against me yeah(: E63/65: 100m Freestyle. This was the beginning of the torturous 3 continuous 100m races. I'll go through later. Firstly, freestyle 100m girls 13-14 was a combined event with girls 11-12. So yeah. Means I was gonna swim with JOYYAP o.o' But, well, in the end I guess I beat her though. Perhaps by slightly more than a body length, didn't see the finishing. Just knew I was infront of her. 1.10s, a new personal best time. Not bad, well. Actually, it WAS bad. 33s to go, 36s to comeback. Yes I know they add up to be 1.09s, but hell yeah it might have been 33.01s and 36.99s for all I care. I saw Joy the same pace as me throughout the race, thankgoodness we were 2 lanes apart. Kinda chiong-ed the first lap, and then tried to continue chionging the next lap back. Well, aparently, I didn't chiong hard enough. WanTing's record was 1.05s. The second lap was painful, but the adrenaline thrill after was really worth it. E67/68 100m Backstroke. Another combined event with Lydia's agegroup. The swim was painful, but I guess I tried my best because I'd just swam 100m free, and still kinda tired. But I managed a personal best of 1.25s. Lydia, what can I say? 1.24s. E71 100m Butterfly. This was the worst. Thankgoodness Jonathan told me to run water over myself from the shower, that felt much better. I couldn't move after the first 25m. That's where Sharley overtook me. Sigh, I couldn't catch up at all later): I lost to her by about 1 bodylength, 1second. She 1.23s and me 1.24s. Mannn.... E78 200m Freestyle. This has got to be by far THE MOST painful and horrible, but the best one yet. Horrible, because I had been swimming 3 consecutive 100m(free, back and fly. Fuck the sequences.) before I swam this 200m Free. Painful, because I had to go fast/allout/chiong-ing for all the 4 laps, and people, you KNOW that's gotta hurt like shit. I was following through the motion throughout the first three laps, marvelled at how I could maintain almost the same speed without feeling majorily tired throughout the first three laps. The last lap was choing-ing allout even though I was already dead-tired-not-to-mention-supremely-stiff already. By the last 25m my hands and feet where already feeling frozen stiff, but yeah, still telling myself that I had to push somemore, like as Jerome(oh by the way, if you read this, I think your socks are cool) would say : Mind-over-body. It hurts, a damn whole lot. And it takes a fuggin' load of mindpower and willpower to do it. When I finished, my hands, lower arms and feet were cold stiff, circulation blocked out. I would have just taken me a simple slip on the wet surface to fall and not be able to get up. Well, yeah. At least that was what I was feeling at that time. 200m Best because I did a personal best of 2.36s, a 3second-cut-off from my last timing. And I beat Emma by a lot. But I can't boast about that, she's not been training. Warm down was hilarious. ShiDa Brendon and Darwin are damn lame. "The back of Sharley's pants are wet... Oh shit I didn't just say that." -Darwin. Ehhes. "You know ah, when I was swimming the last lap of the 200m right, until the last 25m, I saw ShiDa's bubbles stop already and I was like WHATTHEHELL HE FINISHED ALREADY and I'm only at the 25m mark so yeah bopian liao la. You know I actually felt quite motivated because by the end of the first lap I could still see ShiDa. Then 3rd and last lap he chiong until dunno where already." -Brendon. "Then the 100m Frestyle right, I lost them by the 75m mark. So I just died." -Darwin. "I swimming over there wanna die already and then this guy(ShiDa) over here still can chiong like crazy." "B: You know I thought Singapore Open was for those older people. D: Yeah you know those Lao Ah Peks there last time like 50 years ago broke swimming records but now... You know la. Then GET READY!! they step up the plunging blocks then GO they plunge in then kick kick kick and float up like die already like that. Then the others in the pool stop to help then he suddenly fake it and CHIONG-AH straight in front. Heh. LOL. G: Not to mention their HUSHI!(beard) B: Yeahh!! Swim swim push beard swim swim push beard." Oh, and I shouldn't forget to mention that ShiDa is freakking tall. Prize presentation after. Then a late, late lunch at 2.30pm(did I mention that I was starving?) Went to lot 1, bought Kim and Ryan jeans, then met Sharley, Isabelle, Lydia, Deborah, Brendon and Darwin at Macs/the Bluez. Wanted to go eat dinner at PastaMANIA(: but then Deborah didn't like pasta/pizza. Then escalator-ed down to first level to look for New York the new shop. But then it's all american(DUHH!) and Deborah didn't like it either. "Over here smells like dentist. I hate dentists." -gen. Brendon just went roflmao. So in the end we decieded to go to Sakae SA-KA-E! not SA-KAE! Sushi. Wanted to eat teppanyaki at first, but decided it was too expensive so didn't in the end. Darwin ordered a Beef Ramen. Picture this scene. (W: waitress) "W: your beef Ramen sir. *Puts down the bowl, and then the flaked chili* D:Thankyou. Uh, is this chili?*Holds up the flaked chili bottle* S: Yes it is you put it in with the Ramen. I: *Tips the flaked chili bottle over Darwin's ramen so it floats down.* D: OH NO I DON'T LIKE CHILI STOP IT STOP IT!!*waves arms around* W: Oh my god oh my god... Do you need me to change it for you? I: NEVER MIND LAH. It tastes the same anyway... D: Uh, nevermind la no need then*glares at isabelle* W: Then I better take this away.*takes away the flaked chili*" geez Darwin. And this? "S: I want soft shell crab.*Orders it with Isabelle* W: Here's your soft shell crab ma'am.*Puts down the plate* Sharley and Isabelle eats it, but then sharley needs a plate, so she asks me. Then she needs tissue... S: Darwin, can you help me take a tissue please? D: See I so kind*takes it* S: (hands full) Can help me open? D:!! *Opens it anyway, but then it drops into his UNEATEN bowl of Beef Ramen ahhhas* D: WHAT THE HELL..." And Brendon scared him the entire time about 'Flushing'. Go figure out that yourself. "B: Never mind, it's just flushing. Just like gardening." And we discussed how David is CHARISMATIC and not CREEPY. And Darwin wanted work as a waiter. "D: Excuse me sir, here's your xxxx *holds up the green plate* B: You don't do it like that la! Let me show you... *Goes on and on about how to put the plate down in front of the customer and then point to the forks and knives/spoons etc.* D: (Buay song liao) *Bangs the plate on the table* NAH! EAT LA." "D: KC's eyes see from upside down very big leh. I: Whoa you two how far already ah? See each other's eyes upside down. B: Yeah even I know Isabelle for like how long liao I dont go up to her and turn upside down to see how big her eyes are. D: Sometimes she lie on me then sometimes I lie on her lo... B: WHALAO what kamasutra way is that you both lie on top of each other. D: NO LA! On the lap only la..." "B:You go Geylang to do duck business then some tall tall women come and say EH WHY NO ONE HERE AH then he goes DOWN HERE LA." That made Darwin sibeh buay song. That stupid High Class Monkey. After dinner (WHAKAO $108.50 wtff...) we went to library to calculate how much we had to pay each other. gen saved the day by calculating everything out nicely. We had to calculate it so many times because the first time it wasn't correct, then not accurate, then forgot to add in stuffs, then GST never add in, then forgot about the 10% Service charge, then GST count wrong, so yeah. gen used up an entire A4-sized paper to do the entire calculations and a lot of handphone memory. Bleah. And they made a lot of noise in the library. Later, we went up to take neoprints. Lol, so funny ahhas. Left at about 8.30, reached home at 8.45pm. Know what? When me deborah and sharley left, sharley went right(back to her house), I went left(to the LRT), and deborah went straight(to the MRT). Brendon and Darwin? They went back to lot 1. Left right up and down ehhes. Going to Germany tomorrow. Excited, but bloody sleepy. Flight at 1.45pm. So you people out there better not call/message me until the 19th unless you want to get back a big fat phone bill. Just email me can(: And oh. Darwin, you're getting nothing but the hotel towels, soaps and the slippers because you annoyed me. No I really am just joking. I might be serious, but it depends on my mood so yeah. You better pray that I'll be in a good mood. Ohgosh. I have to make a list of souvenirs to buy for the people. Ah! will go broke. Euro's expensive. Will see what I can get(: |
and that's all you needa know. |
